All The Secrets Revealed About Cell Phone Stores

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dane_J_Stanton]Dane J Stanton So you’re wondering which cell phone store is the best to buy from and where can you find it? Well this is a question that varies depending on the situation of the person or people involved. This article will endeavor to teach you everything there is to know about cell phone stores, as well as giving some good general information about cell phones and cell phone plans. Buying Offline The first place you could buy a cell phone from would be any cell phone store available in your area. This doesn’t mean you should just buy a cell phone from the first store you visit. You see every cell phone store has different available phones on different plans. Therefore you are going to have to shop around at every store in your local area. Access what plans are available and what phones come with the plans. Generally most plans now have caps on them, which means that you will have a certain limit for the month that you can use with cheaper rates and if you exceed that limit, you are going to have to pay the normal more expensive rates. The first decision you have to make is to work out how much credit you use in a month and from there you can decide which cap plan would be best for you. Buying Online The second place you can buy cell phones is online. There are many cell phone plans available online that offer a wide range of phones on different plans. The great thing about buying online is that everything is automated and you are in control of what’s happening. There are no salesman around trying to get you to buy a phone from them just so they can get the commission for the sale. If you’re afraid of buying anything online, then you shouldn’t be, nowadays online companies pay amazing amounts of money to make every transaction from their stores as safe a possible. In fact some would say you have more of a chance of someone stealing your wallet or purse in a store then you do from someone stealing your information online! In the end probably the best thing to do would be to check out some stores in your local area and then go online and compare the rates and the prices of the phones. Remember if you are buying online you have to check to see how much postage and handling is. In most cases it’s free but check anyway. The True Meaning of Intimacy in a Relationship

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

By Joshua Goh When you come across two people who enjoy an intimate relationship, what do you feel? happy? or sad, that you do not have such an intimacy in your present or past connections ? What exactly is it that the couple is enjoying? How do you define intimacy?. Your definition of this word would probably circle around words like love, intensity, friendship, sharing, commonality and sex. Your imagination would perhaps take you to romantic walks along the promenade, sharing a joke with close family and friends or something similar. If you notice all these situations are without any stress, tension and full of fund and good times. I am sure you cant imagine intimacy in struggling, strenuous or grievous phases of life. When you sit down to define or re-define intimacy, you would be surprised to note that intimacy is not confined to good times only. Intimacy is sharing the sorrow and ups and downs of life as well. In fact, intimacy cant stay without the negative situations or the tough times, a natural part of our lives. So how can intimacy be defined. According to the expert on the subject, Harriet Goldhor, in her book The Dance of Intimacy, she offers a definition as : “for starters, intimacy means that we can be who we are in a relationship, and allow the other person to do the same. An intimate relationship is one in which neither party silences, sacrifices, or betrays the self and each party expresses strength and vulnerability, weakness and competence in a balanced way.” How does this definition from the expert compare with the notion that you harbored for so long. Are they different or similar? Whatever it is, you can truly benefit from assessing your beliefs about intimacy. Because once you come to a proper understanding of the concept of intimacy, your struggle for fining a long-lasting relationship will be smoother. Intimacy does not happen with the press of a button. It is a time consuming process and usually takes its own course. It builds inch by inch as we listen to each others stories, share the pains and sorrows, communicate about our needs and desires from each other, about our loves and phobias and every time we say sorry first. You can take various steps to make a relationship of your dreams but all of them run the risk of failing unless you grab and absorb the true value and meaning of the concept of intimacy. It is my fond hope that this issue has at least pulled the trigger to give a re-look at your values and beliefs, scrutinize your past and present relationships, and map your new learning to your present life. Do You Really Want To Live Under Religious Fundamentalist Control? Errrr, Um…No!

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

By Dennis Diehl I’m not so sure I’d enjoy being ruled by the fundamentalist Christians I know. They just know that they, the true true saints, will rule the world under Jesus Christ. This makes me nervous and I’m not so sure it will be source of my never ending joy realized when Jesus returns to rule us all with a “rod of iron.” Somehow the use of seminars, luncheons and field trips never seems to dawn on Jesus or God as a way to better teach us poor ignorant slobs. But not to worry, I think the Rod of Iron thing is made up by the men who love to rule with such things. In becoming as little children, you’d think rods of iron would be prohibited as an acceptable way to solve problems and teach truth. I guess my common sense is not the common sense God and Jesus experience according to my fundamentalist friends. First of all, the Clergy I know, don’t get along very well among themselves. The screamers among them seem to compete for the recognition and preeminence and the rules they believe they will enforce upon all mankind within their reach are down right depressing and frightening. Worse yet, they don’t seem to be able to agree on which rules are rules, which are suggestions and which are done away with. I do know they tend to want to be in charge and not just work for the Lord in lower positions. There will be no dancin’ or card playin’. No hair longer than that of the 1950’s and no dresses shorter than ankle high. They will be made mostly of boring colors and put you in mind of your grandma. You’ll be forced, because it’s the rule, to go to Bible studies on Wednesday nights and church EVERY Sunday. You’ll agree that Jesus really was born on Christmas and really died on Easter for all the appropriate reasons. You will be baptised by immersion or sprinkled depending. You’re repentance will be heartfelt and genuine and you will become perfect like God is, or else of course. In fact you’ll agree with what you are told to agree with even if you don’t. If you don’t, you will keep that very very quiet. However a local pastor says that God knows our thoughts, so that will be a challenge. I just know he’s gonna tell! As far as entertainment is concerned, you will love Andy Griffith and hate American Idol. Chris Sligh, outstanding singer and all around good guy, on American Idol, and Bob Jones University drop out, will be executed unless he rejoins the choir. Bob Jones is very disappointed in Chris for misusing his talents and spending time with the enemy. Any feelings that the pkind of religious control he experienced is creepy or confining will be purged from his deceived mind, should he survive. Movies will be strictly monitored and you will learn to love “The Sound of Music”and “Oklahoma” as you never thought you could, or else. Stores will close on the appointed days and times and only sell the appropriate Christian things. I imagine only Christians will be allowed to even own or run a store. Oh yeah, the non-believers will be dead. Concerning science, well, hold on to your hats. Evolution, which is literally true, will be banned and creationism and the Fall of Man because of woman in the Garden of Eden, which is not literally true, will replace it. Science will be ever so much more easily understood. Phrases like “Quantum physics tells us,” or “human consciousness studies inform us that,” will be replaced by “God says.” In fact, every finding of archaeology, paleontology, astronomy and every other “onomyies”and “tologies” will be replaced with “God says.” A degree in science won’t take long at all and the answers will become so much easier to come up with on the test. Clergy will replace politicians and giving to the State will be regulated by Old Testament laws on tithing and many other such things you won’t believe how happy they will make you. It will be to one’s advantage to become a Priest of the Most High if you ever expect to accumulate any real material wealth. The Ten Commandments will be suspended long enough to steal the unbelievers blind, rape their wives, enslave their children and kill those who can’t see the light as it is revealed to them. If you should find yourself in any kind of conflict over why you have to be so compliant and believe the unbelievable, this is why Jesus has his very own rod of iron. He will convince you that you need to adjust your attitude and you will do so nicely and with sincerity. After you learn anatomy by seeing eyes and tongues dissolve in the appropriately “God is Love” way, you’ll feel more inclined to obey and be happy. Now we can all hope the above nightmare scenario in the hands of Christian Fundamentalists will never come to pass. However, we have ample Old Testament predictions that Jewish fundamentalism will prevail in a very similar way. The above mentioned pastors will be forced to give up Sunday for Sabbath, Easter for Passover and Christmas for the Feast of Tabernacles. Boy are they gonna be surprised! I mean, this is what it says in the book they love to use to tell us all just how happy we will be when Jesus returns and restores all things his and God’s way. A common phrase to be heard by these Pastors will be “hmmmmmmmm, no one ’splained it to me that way before.” Let’s take a quick look at how happy we will be when the Messiah comes from the Jewish perspective, and how deep our joy must be, or else. Zechariah 14:(1-2) Jerusalem under siege from the nations. Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, and your spoil will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. See, I told ya the Ten Commandments would be suspended for the greater good! (12-15) Enemies are forever plagued. And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. It shall come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbors hand; Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. Such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be. See, I told ya you could still have lots of good stuff if you were the chosen ones and you’d learn anatomy in new and interesting ways! (16-19) All the nations come to Jerusalem to worship the Lord. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. See, I told ya have to give up the pagan Christian holidays and absolutely fall in love with the Jewish Holydays, or else. (20-21) The common is made holy. In that day Holiness to the Lord shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lords house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts. See, I told ya Church was going to be a lot different and you better not be one of the not so special ones! Doesn’t being under enforced, for your own good, religious rule sound fun? No! Won’t we be ever so much more happy and fulfilled? No! Actually, I sincerely hope this is not what “and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free,” really means. Freedom under religious rule and control is truly frightening and depressing. Cash Advance Companies May Offer A Better Solution

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tracy_Thomas]Tracy Thomas Cash advance companies loan money to working people to tide them over until their next payday, usually in the amount of a few hundred dollars. To pay off the loan, the borrower writes a check that is post-dated for the next payday. When he or she has money in the bank, the cash advance company cashes the check. Often there is a service charge of about $15 for every $100 borrowed. For people with bad credit and no credit cards, this is the easiest way to borrow money during difficult financial situations. This form of lending has become very popular, and cash advance is a $45 billion industry in the United States. At first glance, cash advance companies seem like an expensive way to borrow money. When you calculate the annualized percentage rate (APR), some payday loans come out to 250 percent and even close to 400 percent APR. Compare that with 20 percent for a credit card and it quickly looks unfair. But there’s more to the story than that. From a lender’s perspective, there’s no reason why they would charge what a bank or credit card charges in interest. For example, if a cash advance company lent one hundred dollars to someone for one week and charged 20 percent interest, it would only yield them 38 cents. That’s not much of a profit. Although we don’t realize it, there are other charges that we encounter quite often that also turn out to be very high APR rates. For example, if you bounce a $100 check, you will incur overdraft fees and perhaps a merchant fee that could add up to a $48 charge. That works out to 1,250 percent APR. “If you’re late paying your $100 credit card balance, you could be charged $26, an APR of 678 percent,” according to John Matthews of [http://www.bigcashadvance.com]Big Cash Advance. Taken in context, cash advance companies offer a worthwhile short-term solution. All about Lasik Surgery: Cures and Treatment Options

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

By Nakul Jain LASIK stands for Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. Lasik surgery is a vision correction procedure by performing surgery which permanently reshapes the cornea which is a clear top layer of the eye through an excimer laser technology so the eye can focus correctly and vision becomes clear. A knife, called a microkeratome, is used make a cut in the cornea to make a flap which is folded to show the middle of the cornea which is called stroma. Once it is revealed technically controlled laser rays are produced to vapourize a particular portion of the stroma and then the flap is put back in place. The range of laser rays and the particular portion of stroma is decided by the power of myopia or hypermetropia of eyes or the number being used for glasses or lenses. You may need lasik surgery if you are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism. You may go in for the surgery after an examination with the ophthalmologist as you need to abide by certain conditions 1) age- being an adult 2) free from cataract 3) no eye infection or inflammation 4) No other health issues which might be affecting your eyes such as Rheumatoid Arthritis or Diabetes which might be causing vision problem hence lasik treatment would not help in any case Pre surgery requires to stop wearing contact lenses a month before surgery as Contact lenses change the shape of your cornea and the cornea is required to take its normal shape for accurate measurements vfor the correct surgical plan These measurements, which determine how much corneal tissue to remove, may need to be repeated several times before surgery to make sure they have not changed The procedure The surgery should take less than 30 minutes. You will lie straight on your back in the room containing the laser system. The laser system includes a large machine with a microscope attached to it and a computer screen. A numbing drop will be placed in your eye, the area around your eye will be cleaned, and an instrument called a lid speculum will be used to hold your eyelids open. A ring will be placed on your eye and very high pressures will be applied to create suction to the cornea. Your vision will dim while the suction ring is on and you may feel the pressure and experience some discomfort during this part of the procedure. The microkeratome, a cutting instrument, is attached to the suction ring. Your doctor will use the blade of the microkeratome to cut a flap in your cornea. The microkeratome and the suction ring are then removed. You will be able to see, but you will experience fluctuating degrees of blurred vision during the rest of the procedure. The doctor will then lift the flap and fold it back on its hinge, and dry the exposed tissue. The laser will be positioned over your eye and you will be asked to stare at a light.. It is very important to stare straight on the light as the laser is positioned accordingly and a wrong placement might have extremely negative effect. When your eye is in the correct position, the laser will start. As the laser starts you might experience a burning smell A computer controls the amount of laser energy delivered to your eye. Before the start of surgery, the computer would have been programmed to vaporize a particular amount of tissue based on the measurements taken at your initial evaluation. After the pulses of laser energy vaporize the corneal tissue, the flap is put back into position. A shield should be placed over your eye at the end of the procedure as protection, since no stitches are used to hold the flap in place. It is important for you to wear this shield to prevent you from rubbing your eye and putting pressure on your eye while you sleep, and to protect your eye from accidentally being hit or poked until the flap has healed. Post surgery 1) You should avoid going out in the sun for a week 2) Avoid strain on eyes such as computer or tv 3) Do not wash eyes 4) Do not use eye makeup or cream ,lotions near eye area 5) Sports such as swimming , boxing, football, karate, etc. should not be attempted for at least a month after surgery. 6) Protect eyes from anything that would touch or hit them During the first few months after surgery, your vision may fluctuate. It may take up to three to six months for your vision to stabilize after surgery. Glare, haloes, difficulty driving at night, and other visual symptoms may also persist during this stabilization period. If further correction or enhancement is necessary, you should wait until your eye measurements are consistent for two consecutive visits at least 3 months apart before re-operation. It is important to realize that although distance vision may improve after re-operation, it is unlikely that other visual symptoms such as glare or haloes will improve. Eye surgery in India is one of the highly growing sectors in medical tourism. Several hospitals and clinics are now fully equipped to handle the inflow of patients from the West with latest technology, highly trained doctors and of course, customized treatment for every patient. Fun Veterans Day Trivia Facts and Party Tips

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

By Gail Leino Once known as Armistice Day the modern celebration of Veterans Day has its origins in the end of World War I. Rather than a commemoration of war this mid-November legal holiday is intended to coincide with the historic resumption of peace among nations. Naturally those who did not return from the battle front are the focus of much of the interest but living veterans are honored as well. Too many people gloss over this day because of it’s overshadowing by major celebrations on the fall calendar. For those who do plan remembrance events there are many tried and true decorating motifs. Although Veterans Day is a somber occasion it is one that can be accompanied by buffets of favorite foods and after parade fare. A lot of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts consider this to be the high point of their activities for the year. Similarly, Veterans Administration (VA) hospitals and homes place a lot of significance on this observation. Anyone visiting someone in one of these facilities can count on an occasion of much importance. However, municipalities that commemorate Veterans Day with a parade will probably have a more jubilant take on the traditions of the day. Groups of uniform clad veterans will share the lime light with loud siren blaring fire trucks or large groups of clown in small cars. There isn’t much difference between this parade and the ones that follow Thanksgiving Day to kick off the Christmas shopping season. Home commemorations can be respectful without being too depressing. The U.S. flag is the source of the color scheme but foods and other details can be of individual preferences. Whatever choices are made for these lunches and dinners the obvious choice for practical get-togethers on Veterans Day is to use paper party goods. Easy clean-ups rule! Reasons Not to Fight: It’s Addictive

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

By Jeff Herring Did you know that continually fighting and bickering is addictive. It is. Fight or Flight The way it was taught to me in school was that the fight or flight response is hard wired into us since the beginning of time. When the saber toothed tiger jumps out of the jungle at the cave man, the adrenaline rush causes you to prepare you to either fight the tiger or run like hell. Fighting and bickering, and the anger that comes with it, kicks off the old fight-or-flight response that prepares us to handle a threat. This produces a kind of energy, or “high.” This high is linked with the fighting and bickering, and an addiction is formed. Some people have said that what kept the fighting alive in their relationship was the “juiced” feeling they would get when fighting mad. Breaking the addiction The strategy to break the addiction is to set up a new link in your mind. Instead of linking the fighting to the high of anger, link the fighting to the pain you feel when you are being hurt by your partner and the hurt you cause. This will take some time and practice. It is worth it, because you will learn to avoid the fighting to avoid the pain. Visit SecretsofGreatRelationships.com for tips and tools for creating and growing a great relationship. Your Next Relationship - Heaven or Hell

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

By Lucia Demasi Weve all had relationships that weve looked back on and thought, What was I thinking? Problem is, you werent thinking. You based your decision strictly on chemistry and first impressions, and in the words of Elvis Presley, Thats when your heartaches begin. Would you like to make better choices in the future? This is your lucky day. Imagine you have an empty wall over your sofa and are looking for the perfect piece of art to fill it with. Lets make believe theres a gallery in town that is known for having great paintings. Theres only one problem. All of their artwork is covered up except for one small corner. If you decide you like something, you can either buy it without seeing what the whole thing looks like, or you can go back each week as a bit more of it is revealed. Do you get where Im going with this? Most people fall for a corner of the painting and immediately decide this would be the perfect piece of art for a wall that has been bare for far too long. Instead of returning each week to the gallery to learn a bit more, they make up their mind on the spot and only weeks or months later when the cover is off do they see what they are really dealing with. I doubt anyone would ever buy art in this fashion, yet that is exactly what youre doing when you first meet someone and either instantly or within days or weeks decide you want them to be your partner. Youre only seeing a corner of the painting. If you had waited to see what the rest looked like, you may have chosen to move on instead. Whats the solution? When meeting someone new, your motto should be, SHOW ME WHO YOU ARE AND ILL DECIDE WHERE YOU FIT INTO MY LIFE, IF ANYWHERE. Instead of trying or hoping to have someone in your life, let the person show you who they are, by their words, actions and non-actions. Then you can decide what category to put them in. Lets say youre looking for a committed relationship. You meet someone and at first everything seems great. Then they start to become unreliable, dont call when they say they will, cancel dates, show up 2 hours late, are verbally abusive, etc. Youve just been shown that they are not to be taken seriously. If youve already brought them home and placed them on that empty space above your sofa (your heart), it will be more difficult to walk away, than if you had just gone to the gallery each week to see who they were. Ce nest pas? There was a guy that had been trying to get my number for several months, but I wasnt interested, so I didnt give it to him. One day he mentioned that he had been tanning at a friends pool. I thought it might be fun to go with him sometime, so he gave me his number. I called on a Saturday afternoon, to see about going on Sunday. Well, this guy that was so interested in my number beforehand, didnt call back. When I saw him the following Monday, I said, What happened? You never called back. He responded, I had a crazy weekend. Does that mean he couldnt find 5 minutes to call back? I doubt it, but it did show me who he was and if I wasnt interested before, I was even less interested now. Let people show you who they are and then you can decide if they fit into your life.
